Before Oral Or Intravenous Sedation
Below are some instructions we recommend you adhere to before your sedation appointment. Please let us know if you have any questions about the following items:

Please do not eat or drink anything (including water) for eight hours prior to your appointment

A responsible adult must accompany the patient to the office, remain at the office during the procedure, drive the patient home, and monitor the patient at home

Please wear loose fitting clothing with sleeves which can be rolled up past the elbow

If you have an illness such as a facial rash, cold, sore throat, or upset stomach, please notify the office

If you take routine oral medications, please check with us prior to your surigcal date for instructions

No smoking at least 12 hours before surgery. We recommend you cut down or stop smoking as soon as possible prior to the day of surgery
